With the increased use of Web 2.0 social applications, parents around the world are becoming aware of the need to be proactive in protecting their kids.
In our informal survey of several PTA leaders, it seems apparent that parents who are “in the know” are active in monitoring their kids’ internet usage. However, the consensus opinion seems to be that much work still needs to be done and fortunately groups like PTA are helping educate parents on the danger and potential of the internet.
